JAYNEY MAC

Jane MacCarthy is a designer maker from Cork with a graphic design background. After moving home from the UK, Jane started designing a range of earrings, brooches, pins and necklaces all made with shrink plastic.

Jayney Mac designs are handmade from start to finish. Inspiration for Jane's designs are taken from her cats, wild animals and birds and of course, colour. The process starts with a drawing which is then transferred onto computer. It is then printed onto shrink plastic sheets, cut out and shrunk in the oven. Next they are glittered and glazed and the final step is gluing on the backs.
