AISLING DUFFY
Aisling is an art-led fashion designer based between London & Dublin. She runs a small independent label focusing on print and embellishment, creating One~Of~A~Kind drops, Made~To~Order collections and customized hand-painted pieces.
Aisling studied at The National College of Art & Design in Dublin where she specialised in printed textiles, then went on to completing her MFA in mixed media textiles at The Edinburgh College of Art. In late 2017 she achieved a Creative Careers Award, granting her a Studio Space at Cockpit Arts in London which allowed her to set up her own unique label.
Her work explores themes of identity, personality and self-exploration, while addressing social
issues such as climate change, environment and sustainable fashion through her choice of fabrics and DIY aesthetic.
Aisling uses deadstock, upcycled and organic fabrics where ever possible, working on a made-to-order basis meaning there is no waste or overproduction
Aisling's work has been featured in the Irish Times, Irish Country Mag as well as other publications both in print and online magazines.
